The appeal got off to a flying start with a £200,000 pledge from The Geoffrey Watling Trust. This gave a really solid platform from which to drive forward towards the £1,000,000 target.

A prolific Balloons4Hearts fundraiser, Liam Hughes who is a consultant interventional cardiologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has lead by example. Not only does he carry out this life saving procedure, which often sees him working a 60 hour week, but he also uses his spare time to raise funds.

Tracy Vanzino is a formidable B4H fundraiser and has run a number of events in the Cromer area. Giovanni Vanzino was well known in the Cromer area and sadly lost his battle with heart disease. Our leading supporter in North Norfolk is helping Balloons4Hearts to save other people from this outlying area by raising funds for the new equipment.
